With a passion for music education, OKAN leaders Magdelys Savigne and Elizabeth deliver fun and interactive workshops that are adaptable for any age group from Kindergarten through seniors!
Classically trained, award-winning perfumers Magdelys and Elizabeth invite participants to actively participate, to explore new rhythms and songs while learning about Cuba and its rich musical heritage.

Join OKAN on a journey to Cuba as they share their experiences inspirations, compositions ad perspective on fusions of tradition and contemporary musical practice.
OKAN has had the pleasure of delivering workshops across North America in countless public schools and festivals as well as at residencies at Queens University in Kingston, The University of California, Berkeley and the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Centre at the University of Maryland.
